HOW DO WE GET STARTED?

We usually begin with a $85.00 one hour consultation in your home where we can see what you have and get a feel for what you want and how you envision it.  Usually in this time we can point out bearing walls, give you an idea of how your plans fit in with local zoning codes and any historic regulations.  We can also tell you about valuable tax credits if your home is over 50 years old and unique to the history of the area or in a National Historic District.  We leave you with a set fee proposal only for the design work that you request that you can look over and think about and move forward with at your convenience.  Plan ahead because good design takes time not only for us but also for you to consider the options we give you and which ones you like best as any design may include trade offs where you gain this but that takes away budget or space for this.  We'll move forward when you are ready and charge you only what you have agreed to pay.
